Presenting the NEA Eco Music Challenge 2011 Finalists

Following the success of the NEA Eco Music Challenge 2011 Showcase at Timbre in June, the top 14 finalists have just been announced last week. They are currently participating in a special mentorship programme with Singapore’s veteran composer, Clement Chow, Timbre Music Academy’s Sara Wee and Mang Irama Dusqie, as well as Intune Music School’s Aaron Lim and Peng Chi Sheng.

The finalists will then pit their skills at the finale concert held on 27 August 2011 at Orchard Central and the winning song will be selected as the official Clean & Green Singapore song for 2011.

NEA Eco Music Challenge 2011 – Sneak Peek

Wondering just what’s been happening with us these past months? Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s been going on behind the scenes over at camp Carbon.

We’ve been very fortunate to partner with the National Environment Agency (NEA) in producing last year’s 1st season of the NEA Eco Music Challenge. The competition, was a first-of-its-kind campaign to spread the word on going green through music. This year, we are back for more with an exciting 2nd season, and a new feature artist – local singer / songwriter, Inch Chua.

Look out for the launch of season 2, coming this April 2011!
